Allan Steinhardt, Ph.D., Chief Scientist at AEye, is an IEEE Fellow and expert in radar, missile defense, GMTI, space surveillance, and advanced sensing. A former Chief Scientist at DARPA and assistant professor at Cornell University, he has also held senior technical roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and BAE Systems/Alphatech. Steinhardt has published more than 200 articles on electronic warfare, sensing, radar, and defense strategy and is a recipient of the U.S. Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
