Las Vegas, NV - January 7, 2020 - Today, artificial perception pioneer AEye and Intvo, a provider of AI-driven pedestrian behavior prediction technology, announced they will be demonstrating advanced pedestrian intent capabilities at CES 2020. The demonstration combines Intvo’s smart software with AEye’s 2D/3D adaptive sensing iDAR™ platform, which efficiently captures, processes and optimizes both 2D and 3D data in real-time, to achieve human-like perception that aims to improve safety for all road users. Visitors to CES can see the…
Las Vegas, NV - January 6, 2020 - Today artificial perception pioneer AEye announced it will showcase advanced perception capabilities that will accelerate the development and deployment of ADAS and autonomous vehicles at CES 2020. AEye and its solution partners ANSYS, Infineon, Tata Elxsi and Aisin will demonstrate how AEye’s AI-driven iDAR™ platform acts as a platform for perception innovation, helping automotive OEMs and tier 1s address the toughest corner cases and bring safe, reliable autonomous features to the market.…
Having reached capacity at their Pleasanton headquarters, AEye has leased a 55,000 sq. ft office space at 1 Park Place in Dublin California, which will accommodate 350 employees and ensure the company is poised for growth and success. AEye has already begun to move its employees to the new headquarters, and will complete the move in early 2020.
Chris Wiltz of DesignNews chronicles AEye President Blair LaCorte's AutoMobility LA 2019 press conference where he discusses how iDAR enables autonomous vehicle sensing technology to “out-perceive the human eye” using biomimicry, iDAR's motion forecasting ability, and how AEye's technology is similar to the Indoraptor from “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”
Marcus Amick of Ride by Kelley Blue Book calls AEye's new 2D/3D perception sensor system, iDAR, one of the "most interesting tech innovations" featured at the AutoMobility summit. At their outdoor exhibition, AEye demonstrated how iDAR can "search, acquire, classify, and track" objects by combining agile LiDAR, camera, and AI in the sensor.
